That wonderful smell of onions sizzling in a pan always makes us go ga-ga over a recipe. Food is perhaps the only thing in the world that offers a wide range. India itself is a hub of some delicious eateries that are both vivid and popular.

Spices are one thing that laid its foundation in India. Spices are not just aromatic but offer a delicious flavor to our taste buds. Phaal Curry

The dish is hot and pungent and uses fresh ground masala topped with a boiled egg that completes the dish. This meat is restricted to fish, prawn, crab, lobster, lamb, and chicken.

 

Pork Vindaloo

Pork is one such meal that is immensely popular in the north-east. Vindaloo formed roots in Goa influenced by the Portuguese. The preparation includes heavy use of vinegar and pork.

The dish has many variants, some serve it with chicken or lamb blended with potatoes, however, the traditional recipe does not include potato. The real taste and flavor of spices are top-notch on the next day as the meat gets marinated properly.

 

Rista

Rista is a lamb meatball curry that is terribly spicy food. The curry is prepared in Red chilly powder and other spices marinated on the meat. There is a use of fennel seeds as well that makes it unique from other similar looking red chilies. This delicacy is best enjoyed with butter naan or steamed rice.

 

Andhra Chilli Chicken

Chilli Chicken is a concept of Chinese, but in Andhra, the people literally mean chilly and chicken. Andhra localities use chilly in a great proportion to add flavor and color to the dish. It is mouth-watering but fiercely spicy.

 

Saoji Chicken Curry

Maharashtrian cuisine is known for its excessive spices, and Saoji Chicken curry is no different. The dish hails from Nagpur, and the spices incorporated in it is nothing more than a special Saoji masala.

Kolhapuri Chicken

You must have heard about Kolhapuri chappals, silk, Kolhapur temples, etc. but Kolhapur is also famous for its Chicken cuisine. From Coconut powder to sesame seeds, many ingredients are used in its preparation before getting marinated with cloves, garlic paste, and dry red chilies.

Bhut Jolokia Curries and Chutney

Bhut Jolokia is considered as the world’s hottest chilly. Therefore, any dish prepared with its fusion is bound to be spicy. The chutneys and curries made with these chilies will sweat your pants and could also numb your mouth and brain cells.

 

Kozhi Chicken Curry

The Kozhi Chicken curry originated in Kerala and is one of the spiciest chicken curries served in India. Made with both Green and Red chilies in a coconut-based gravy is a delight for spice lovers.

The chili powder is marinated with the chicken and kept idle for at least two hours before the final preparation starts. It is ridiculously spicy food and could make you sweat even in those places which are sweat-free.
